Every afternoon the townsmen in Corleone meet to play bowls and cards in the park. In Waiting for nothing shooting is slow, without sound. The only noise is the bowls’ clash that like shots, break the monotony of another passing day. You never see the players’ face. Silence is the man of honour's primary. Mafia is made of "mezze parole" and rules and codes that have to be deciphered.
